Teens: Read off your fines at the

Springfield Public Library! 

 

Teens with overdue fines on their SPL cards can reduce or eliminate them by reading books, comics, magazines – whatever they enjoy.

Simply sign in at a reference desk at your local Springfield City Library branch and get comfortable nearby, and $2 of your Springfield City Library fines will be eliminated for each half hour you read, up to an hour and a half each day.

For ages 12-19 only. Bills for lost or damaged items are not covered by this special program.
